After having a lil female type surgery in January that went south on her, Lil Annee was scheduled to have it all redone by a Denver specialist on July 5. So, in lieu of a July 4 parade and fireworks, we headed to the front range, and checked into the hospital guesthouse.

Next AM we checked into surgery.Annee's surgeon, Dr, Kristi Kille, had called the week before to get permission to film the procedure, and we assumed it would be a training film. Once in OR Prep, we found out it was Channel 7 in Denver that was doing a documentary on cutting edge surgery being performed in Colorado. Seems Dr. Kille is one of only 9 surgeons in the country performing this new surgery and Annee was soon to be a star!

Well, the news crew came in and set up for an interview with Annee in the Prep room, and she was pretty cool off the cuff. Then they did an interview with the Doc. Annee was filmed on the way to surgery and in the OR during surgery.

After recovery she got into a room and had a good nites sleep under some medication. Next AM she was up and around, but a bit ouchy. We fully expected her to have to stay in two nites, but she did so well Doc let her go by 2PM. So, we checked out, and headed home to Montrose.

At this writing she is recovering nicely and feeling stronger day by day. Hopefully all is taken care of now and we have no more hospital visits.
