During the summer we purchased a Polaris 4-wheeler for the farm and joined up with the Uncompaghre Trail Rider Club. Don & Sherril bought a new Polaris and we got a 2 machine trailer to haul both 4-wheelers.

The Club takes a trail ride every Saturday and we were able to join then for a couple trips up in the mountains. The first trip was a thriller of about 60 miles RT from Dallas Divide over to Telluride. The second was a high mountain trip over Red Mountain up into the mountains behind Silverton. Up high it can get really cold, but the views and scenery are stunning!

With the trails snow covered now, we're looking forward to more high mountain trips next summer!
