La Hacienda

The new Hacienda project has been underway since May 15, 2005 and was rapidly nearing completion at the end of January. Pushing our contractor, Phil Bailey, to the limit, we were determined to move in at the end of February come hell or high water.

First Visitors

One week after movein, Bob and Sue Lipscomb from Culpepper,Va. showed up in the midst of a 3 week tour of the country. They were heading to visit their daughter in Denver and wanted to get a look at the much heralded Hacienda.

The Big Wedding

Looked to be that our first official function in the new Hacienda was to be the wedding of Sister Sherrill's daughter Jodi. She and her fiancee, had originally planned an early April wedding that Annee & I would miss because of our Mexico trip. When we offered the Hacienda for the wedding with an earlier date, we were able to entice them to a date change.

Puerto Penasco

Cousin Billy Bob Richardson and his lovely Eileen spend their winters in Sun City Grande in the Phoenix area and devote a lot of their time touring in his humongous motor home.

What's On Tap???

1-On April 26 Lil Annee's heading to Richmond for a week.
2-In May Plumhoff is flying out for a few days to recuperate. . .
