The last week of June, Annee headed off to Virginia and a visit with Diane Mitchell and Dale & Don Mauney. Dale & Don's daughter, Ginger, and her fren Sarah James, were having the coming out book signing of their new book, "The Best of Friends".

Ginger and her husband, Nad, and son Kimber, live in Namibia, where she has gained prominence as a wildlife film maker. You may remember we visited them there several years ago. Ginger's lifelong friend, Sarah James, is a well know anchor with Dateline in New York, and the gals have been best of friends since grade school.

They collaborated on the book idea and came up with the title, "Best of Friends". Its the story of two women, two continents, and a lifelong friendship. Book signing parties were held in Goochland and Whitestone with literally thousands in attendance. Ginger and Sarah developed carpel tunnel syndrome from signing so many books!
