The start of hunting season here in the mountains is less than a month away and everyone with a tag is out scouting for that big buck or bull.  Some game units are over the counter licenses, but all deer tags are by draw. If you haven’t drawn a deer tag, you are out of luck, unless of course you are lucky enough to find a voucher.

And, that’s just what I have available on a first come basis!  I have one buck voucher available in GMU 61, a TROPHY unit, for $2,500. The voucher guarantees you a license from DOW at either the non-resident rate of $334, or resident at $34.

This is an archery tag, and will cover the entire archery season of August 27-September 25.  GMU 61 is within easy daily driving of Montrose, or there are plenty of camp sites available up on the Uncompaghre plateau.
