Sundance safaris is proud to now offer a trophy buffalo hunt, here in our high mountain valley on the western slopes of the majestic sangre de christo mountains.

Thanks to the comeback of the buffalo population, outfitter John Morningsky Ray offers exciting fair chase hunts for sci trophy bulls on 62,000 acres of native bison habitat in southern colorado. Due to the rugged terrain, hunts are conducted horseback, with the final stalk afoot. All hunts are fully guided with experienced guides carrying a backup rifle in case of an enraged charge.

Your hunt begins upon your arrival in the town of San Luis, Co. Where you will be met by john. The  trophy buffalo hunt package is $4,000, and includes lodging, meals, and transportation relative to the hunt for not only the hunter, but one additional non-hunter. Not included are your transportation costs to and from colorado, ammunition, taxidermy, or meat processing fees.
