For all my east coast friends, I can highly recommend a weekend hunt with good friend Tris Hyde, who has opened a B&B at Litwalton Lodge on the Rapahannock River in Lancaster County. Tris and I grew up hunting Virginia rivers and the vast reaches of the Chesapeake Bay together. Now you can join him for hunting geese, divers, and puddle ducks at the new Litwalton Lodge. And as a part of the deal, he'll take you on an evening cruise, oystering on his own rock, or gill netting, depending on the season.

For the reasonable price of $250 per person per day, you get three family style meals, all setups [BYOB], and will be regaled with hunting tales both tall and true.
